Me and my paryner came across by chance at Hanoi cafe while we were walking around the neighbourhood and looking in Google maps for the nearest place where we can get some coffee. In the end we got the coffee from some other place but decided to go in the restaurant as we were a bit cold by that time and wanted to warm up a little. When we entered we were captured from the interior - it was very simple and unpretentious, but it felt so welcoming and comforting. The atmosphere is very authentic and the staff is very kind and responsive. We ordered some spring rolls and a typical Vietnamese soup and we were very impressed by the taste - it was very delicious and rich. We ordered some Mochi for dessert (it was the first time we tasted one) and we loved it - the Mango ones. We highly recommend!

My wife and I ate here on a quiet Friday lunchtime. Having arrived not too long after opening time, we were seated immediately by a very friendly and welcoming staff member. We ordered pork banh mi, pho (available in two sizes) and a Vietnamese coffee. Prepared in a lively kitchen very quickly, the food was packed full of flavour and was very enjoyable. I'd say that it was good value for money too, as you can easily have lunch for under 10. Would recommend.

The food is absolutely delicious and so flavourful! I had the salt and chilli squid, which was freshly made and fragrant. I followed with a coconut curry and sticky rice, again delicious and filling. The customer service is what really makes Hanoi Cafe brilliant, there is a personable and funny waiter named Michael who has made our experience such a lovely one. I will definitely be returning!

So glad I stumbled across this place! incredibly tasty food, I had the hot and sour fish pho which was next level yummy, and the summer rolls, spring rolls & dumplings which were all delicious! I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place

I stopped in for a quick lunch. The food was really tasty. Service was great as well. They have a nice selection of traditional Vietnamese foods for all palates.

I love this place. Super cute with lovely staff. I got the make your own spring rolls plate with tofu which was amazing and I’ve never had it like this at a viet restaurant. Tofu was delicious with fresh herbs. I just wish there were more rice papers.

Banging salad, I always rate a place where staff are nice to walkins before you even order and how good simple dishes are - and on both counts this place gets top marks for me. I was in a mad rush to eat something Light quickly - they made several good suggestions. I settled on the spicy beef salad and it was absolutely delicious so fresh & just the right amount of spice really good size, good amount of beef. Very chill music playing in the background some nice incense burning, I’m definitely going back their menu looks amazing.and they allow dogs xx
